World leaders arrive in the Indian capital, Delhi, this week for the G-20 summit, and the authorities have gone to great lengths to beautify the city.
They have carried out elaborate beautification campaigns, putting up sculptures, statues, and billboards. Some homes were also demolished in the run-up to the event, which officials say were built illegally, but residents say they lost all their possessions and are now homeless.
Schools, colleges, shops and offices will be closed in many districts, especially central Delhi, where the summit will be held.
