Franklin Graham's 'God Loves You' tour reaches 10,000 people in London, next stop in Scotland

More than 10,000 people heard the gospel of Jesus Christ preached on Saturday night at London’s ExCeL center as missionary Franklin Graham once again returned to the UK with his family. God loves you tour.

“I want to say a few words to you tonight because I think there are people here with hurting hearts. A lot of people here have been searching and searching and trying to find purpose for what their lives are about,” Graham, president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelical Association (BGEA), said. to the public. “I’m here to tell you tonight – God loves you! He loves you, and he sent his son Jesus Christ from heaven to this earth to save you from your sins.”

Graham, 71, wrote in a tweet: “I thank God for the hundreds who came forward to answer the call to turn from their sins and put their trust in Jesus Christ last night. Their lives have been changed forever!”

Christians from over 1,000 churches across London have teamed up with Graham and BGEA for outreach because they believe there is an ongoing need to share the Bible’s hopeful message in their communities, according to BGEA. The organization also indicated that attendance at this year’s London event exceeded last year’s attendance by several thousand.

slider image 2In a follow-up tweet, Graham thanked his award-winning guest musicians, including CeCe Winans, 15-time Grammy Award winner and best-selling gospel artist of all time; three-time Grammy Award winner Michael W. Smith; and the Grammy-nominated, platinum-selling Newsboys.

After preaching in London, Graham is scheduled to share the gospel in Essen, Germany, and Rome, Italy this fall.

In the past year, Graham has successfully toured Liverpool, South Wales, Sheffield and London where thousands of people have heard the message of hope and God’s love from the Bible.
